MWC 1999-2001 Pattern Automatic Military Divers Watch with Retro Lume

This release from MWC has an interesting story behind it. In short, 500 pieces were discovered by a distributor in Australia years after the design had been discontinued.

Those 500 watches were snapped up by collectors and inspired MWC to recreate this watch that was originally available from 1999 - 2001.

The original design was built around British MOD specifications and uses a case style popularised by Swiss case-making firm MRP. This new iteration features a number of improvements including being equipped with a Miyota 8315 automatic movement. The glass is upgraded to sapphire crystal and the bezel now has 120 clicks.
